The Beaches

The Cottages at Siesta Key is only 100 yards away from Crescent Beach and Siesta Beach is only 2 miles north. Siesta Key and Crescent Beach (at the end of our street!) are famous for its soft white sand, winning the “World‘s Finest and Whitest” beach sand. It is 40+ acres of beach, consisting of 99% pure, quartz crystal sand!!! (THE SOFT, COOL WHITE KIND!) Siesta Beach has amenities including: lifeguards, concessions, picnic tables & grills, rest rooms and showers, volleyball courts, 4 tennis courts and a playground shaded by Australian pines. Parking is free at all beaches! Turtle Beach is 1 mile south and is smaller, less crowded and perfect for shell collecting and capturing a sunset. There is also a boat launch!
